Universal Design in Education - A Blog for July 3-7

Welcome to the course Blog for the summer institute on Universal Design for Learning. It is designed to provide a forum where resources and media that are relevant to the daily sessions of the institute can be posted by both faculty and participants.

Fireworks only!!!!

Some people wanted a bulletin board to meet up for fireworks. This is a good place. If you post comments below, you can check back to see if others have left notes. Good luck.

Hello everyone. Happy Independence Day!!! I was impressed with the Japanese decision to put yellow lines on their streets and subways. What an innovative idea!!! Thanks Brenda for the cultural view.

Five people were interested in attending the Fourth of July celebration. Maureen Kilty called and we were fortunate enough to get five reservations. We will hear the Boston Pops, and watch fireworks where the history of our country began. WOW!

I was impressed with our small group session with David where we shared information. People are doing amazing things with technology in their schools. I look forward to more informal opportunities to share ideas.

Our experience was outstanding. We heard the Boston Pops clearly, and the fireworks were so close it seemed as though they would drop into our laps. We also felt as though we had experienced the Boston marathon, making our way back to Currie!
